Sitio Bugarin, Pililla Rizal

 This Wind Farm is situated in the mountainous part of the Rizal Province. One challenge in performing delivery is the access road emanating from Port of Manila going to the project site which is approximately 65 miles away. Traversing the heavy congested Metro Manila traffic plus cargo transport is restricted during the night only.  

  Located in Amilongan, Ilocos Sur in the island of Luzon. The elevation is estimated at 1,290.3 feet above mean sea level. Aside from customs clearance, the crucial assignment was the delivery of break bulk goods for the construction of the Plant. The delivery site is situated at the mountain proper in Bakun Benguet. Challenge was treading rough and muddy roads not to mention criss-crossing 18 river beds.

The Gamesa Windfarm has three locations across the Philippines. OLPI was involved in project feasibility study for logistics. We were involved in the delivery planning, customs clearance and processing. Delivery of the windmill components using a barge or LCT (landing craft).
